The first thing you'll probably notice before you need to get your carpets and upholstery cleaned, is the appearance of spots and stains. There is a difference.

A spot is easily removed soiling that sits on top or between the carpet fibers. A stain is actually penetrated the dye sites on the carpet fibers.

Food-based stains can penetrate these sites and create a stain that is permanent. Some products are capable of permanently damaging the carpet when used by consumers attempting to in properly remove a stain.

You'll want a spotting kit

No job is easily accomplished without the right set of tools, so you'll want to have more than just a towel and a bottle of soap to remove spots and stains.
